With that in mind, we want to ensure that the health and safety of our players and their families remains our top priority. Therefore, please ensure everyone who is a part of evaluations (whether directly or not) is familiar with these very important protocols that must be followed during the continued pandemic:
The Town of Canmore will allow one parent/guardian per player to stay at the rink and observe if they believe it is in the best interest of the player. We highly discourage bringing siblings or other children along unless it is absolutely unavoidable. If you do not feel it necessary to stay during evaluations, we ask that you please wait elsewhere.
Anyone attending a C.M.H.A evaluation must:
- Take the AHS online self-screening test prior to arriving. IF YOU ANSWER YES TO ANY QUESTIONS - STAY HOME!
- Maintain physical distancing whenever possible.
- Practice good hand hygiene.
Players and spectators in Town of Canmore and Town of Banff facilities are required to check-in, so in the event of a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case, Alberta Health Services may contact all potentially exposed persons. Please check in with the Registrar (or other C.M.H.A representative, as the case may be) when you arrive. This includes parents / guardians who intend to stay and spectate during the evaluations.
